House of Joy Childcare Center, LLC provides childcare for infants and children between the ages of 6 weeks to 12 years old. There will be a yearly registration fee that is due on the start date for your child or children.
House of Joy Childcare Center, LLC is open Monday through Friday from 6am to
5pm. We are closed for the following observed holidays:
– House of Joy Childcare Center, LLC accepts child care vouchers and payment from the York County Department of Job and Family Services. Parents receiving child care subsidies must comply with the billing process and requirements established by the supporting agency. Child care vouchers cannot be used for more child care time than the time specified in the voucher. Children are eligible for child care services only when the parent/custodian is at work or school.
– There will be a 9:30 AM cut off time for bringing your child to the center. After this time, your child will not be able to attend school due to instructional and daily activities that are in session. We strive to keep a daily routine for the success of learning. Our teachers will need for children to be in place in the
classroom to begin our instructional enrichment no later than 9:30 AM.
– Payments must be made by credit/debit cards (VISA and MasterCard), check or money order payable to House of Joy Childcare Center, LLC.
– All parents must sign a fee agreement prior to the beginning of services. Payment for services must be paid EVERY MONDAY by 5pm.
– A late charge of $10.00 per child will be assessed to any payment made after 5pm on each Monday. Any return checks & declined Credit/Debit cards will be assessed a fee of $35.00 to the child’s account.
– There is a late charge fee for any child picked up after closing time. Five dollars ($5.00) will be charged for every 5 minute increment, according to the center’s clock. Payment will be required PRIOR to the child returning to the center.
– Tuition is expected for days your child may be absent due to illness, family emergencies, doctor visits, hospitalizations, vacations, or any other reason. Please note that tuition rates do not change in the event of a week including a holiday. After extensive research, we have found our policy to be consistent
with other schools and child day care centers. Because our costs remain the
same throughout the year, we rely on the specified tuition to be paid each week in order to meet our expenses. Consequently, as much as we might like to, we cannot make allowance for any days missed in your regular attendance schedule.
– Your childcare services will be terminated for nonpayment and legal actions will be taken to collect the payment, If one of the parties chooses to end the childcare services.
Parents are encouraged to visit your child’s classroom. We have a an open door policy. Please be mindful that our center have quiet time for children to nap from 12:30pm until 2:30pm .
– In the event of bad weather, House of Joy Childcare Center, LLC will be on the same schedule as Rock Hill School District #3 (example; a two hour delay means that the center will also be on a two hour delay.)
– Please note that if the Rock Hill School District is closed, the House of Joy Childcare Center, LLC will also be closed.
– If your child is attending school in the Rock Hill School District #3 dismisses classes early due to inclement weather, please plan to pick up your child from their school. House of Joy Childcare Center, LLC will not provide transportation
when public school is dismissed early and the Rock Hill School District #3.
